Initially, I found this book to be confusing and dry, but then deeper into it I realized that this book was surprisingly informative and funny at the same time. It’s talking about how we are as a society by highlighting exactly how broken our system is and how we’re failing because we’re following a Baboon-run leadership. As the author puts it, the C-Students from Yale club are the ones who end up running the world, they’re powerful but not as educated and much of thinkers as they seem, which is why the world is ailing. Furthermore, it presents cases that intrigue thought such as the idea of defining what is good vs. what is bad, proving that we have double standards and a flawed approach to our decisions. The book is a great read for today’s time, especially when one tends to continuously question the forms of ongoing governance around the globe, the corruption of the capitalistic system, and the way we are living and thinking today.
